The Conference will offer attendees opportunities to learn about relevant projects while interacting directly with the Monterey Bay environment. Mobile workshops currently being planned include a sea-level rise walk, a tour of the local award-winning Environmental Park, a bus tour of the current projects at the former Fort Ord, and a bicycle tour of the proposed Monterey branch light-rail line.
A pre-Conference workshop, focusing on air quality and greenhouse gas emission analysis is also being planned.
