Call for Student Research Posters

The Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP) invites undergraduate and graduate students to submit abstracts for the student research poster session that will be on display during the 2011 AEP Conference, March 6-9 at the Monterey Plaza Hotel in Monterey, California. Posters that address Environmental Science and Policy related themes are encouraged. Suggested topics include:
- Marine Areas/Watershed Protection
- Agricultural Farmland and the Suburban Interface
- Sea Level Rise/Coastal Erosion
- Habitat Mitigation/Regional Corridor Preservation and Conservation
- Land Use and Management
- Sustainability and Planning
- Climate Change Adaptation
- Role of Science in Local Agency Decisions
- NEPA/CEQA
- …and more
Abstracts should include author names and affiliations, a title, and should briefly summarize the objectives, results, and importance of the research in 250 words or less.

Posters should be a maximum of 3 feet wide and 4 feet tall. The posters will be displayed Monday, March 7 and Tuesday, March 8. Please print the poster on light-grained paper (no cardboard) so that it can be easily taped to the wall at the conference site. Posters have to be brought to the conference registration desk no later than Monday, March 7 by 8:30am. You may be eligible for a student award. Posters will be judged during the conference and awards will be announced Tuesday, March 8 during the Young Professionals Networking Event at 5:30pm.
